Error Messages and Troubleshooting
Q. I clicked "Publish All" and got an error message. What do I do?
Occasionally, your website builder will not be as fast as you are! If you try to Publish All while the website builder is completing your last command you may see this error message.
Simply wait for 30 seconds or so and refresh your page and try publishing again.
Q. I've been getting an error page that says "Error Executing Database Query. Timed out trying to establish connection". What do I do?
Normally this resolves itself in minutes. If the problem persists, contact support.

Q. How do I create a "single space" carriage return? I don't want to use double space paragraphs.
By default, clicking your ENTER key creates a double space carriage return. To create a single space you just click SHIFT+ENTER.
Q. When I click the hyperlink icon nothing happens. What do I do?
The hyperlink tool is a small pop-up window. Depending on your browser settings it may be blocked or forced to pop-under. Allowing pop-ups for your Website Builder usually solves this problem. Check to see if the window has popped-under your Edit page.
Q. I need to insert a small script in my webpage. How do I do that?
You can use the html button at the bottom of your WYSIWYG editor to access the html behind your website. Use this view to embed videos, flash or some small javascript tools. Not all scripts are allowed. When in doubt, contact JoMarie for help.

Q. I added a new page but it's not showing up on my website. What's wrong?
Chances are that your page isn't live or you didn't publish all. Login to your Website Builder, click on "Your Pages". Find the new page in the list. Make sure the page is live. If you can see this icon, your page is live. Finish by using the "Publish All" button.
Q. The Recently Updated box on my home page didn't change after I updated my site. What do I do?
Login to your Website Builder > Your Pages > Click the Publish All button. Or click "Publish" for your Home page.
Q. Why can't I change the text that appears in the Recently Updated box on my home page?
You can! The Title and Description of the page you've updated are what is displayed in the Recently Updated list. To change the text, just update your meta tags. (Remember, the Title of the page is also used in the site navigation. If you change the title, you've changed the navigation menu as well).
Q. My text is full of strange symbols instead of quotation marks and other symbols. What do I do?
Copying and pasting from any word processing program will display funny on webpages. This is because your web page is displayed in HTML not the proprietary code of the original text. To fix this go to Your Pages > Click the edit icon for the correct page > click "Finishing Details" > click "Clean Text" . Most symbols will be corrected.
Occasionally you'll use software or specialized symbols that requires fixing by hand. Just open your Edit page and replace the junk characters with the correct symbols.
Q. My pages are full of links that I didn't add. Has someone hacked my website?
No. You've downloaded some mal-ware to your computer that affects your web browser. Clean your computer with Spybot - Search & Destroy . This type of mal-ware can be very difficult to remove.
Q. My images are pushing my content all over the place. What do I do?
Make sure your images are the correct size for your page. Read more about formatting and inserting images. Sometimes you'll place two images with the same alignment and they will "float" around each other. You may need to add paragraph spacing to the text to make everything fit.
