About your built-in Blog

While you can always choose to use a third party blog such as BlogSpot, your website builder offers a blog builder.  Choose whether and how to allow replies.  Your site builder will create an RSS/XML feed for you.

Before adding your blog, consider if you'll be able to post on a regular schedule.  If you want to build an audience you should be posting as often as you want your visitors to check back.

In the long run, consistency is more important than frequency.  If you blog 5 times one day and then nothing for a month you aren't writing a blog, you are posting random thoughts.

Before You Blog

You need to decide if you will allow visitors to post replies.  This is less stressful than you might imagine.  All replies have to be approved and published before appearing on your website.  Our reply tools filter out the most obvious junk, porn and mal-ware.  You will receive email notifications when a reply is submitted.

Behind The Scenes

Your website will automatically format your page to include up to 10 blog articles with links to older articles generated for you. Your most recent Blog article will appear at the top of the blog page.

Check Your Email For Replies

Check your emailIn order to protect your website from spammers you do have to approve each comment. Instead of making you check your Blog every day for new replies, your website will notify you by email.  The downside of this kind of notification is that autogenerated notifications are often sent to your spam folder.  Add your website emails to your trusted sender's list to make sure you get all the emails that your website generates
