What You Need To Know:
All pictures on a website are measured in pixels. "A pixel is simply the individual point of color on a digital image. A pixel doesn't have a particular size. It is an abstract represention of a specific coordinate, like a point on a map." You can learn more online and use the conversion tool at http://auctionrepair.com/pixels.html
Your Photo Album
Before you activate your Photo Album I recommend you evaluate whether it will actually help your website or if you are using it as a fast way to slap up some photos.
A good Photo Album uses quality photos and solid text to describe each photo. The Website Builder will format your album and present it in a visitor friendly page.
How To Use:
- Go to your Photo Album page editor.
Click "Cool Tool Content"
- Click on the "Add Photo"
- Fill in the Form
- Click "ADD". You'll then be directed to upload your photo.
Don't forget - your page isn't live until it's published.
About Your Photos:
Photos should be .jpg format. Do not add .tiff or .bmp images!
Ideal photo size 500px wide. (600px wide MAX). Your Website Builder has links to an online image resizing tool if you need to adjust your image.
Editing and Updating Your Photo Album
As soon as you have added any photos to your Photo Album you'll notice that the photos are displayed on your Edit Page's Cool Tool Manager. You can edit the text, overwrite the image and delete any outdated photos with a simple click of the button.
Notes:
You can NOT delete a photo that doesn't exist. If for any reason your upload got intererrupted, you can Overwrite the image and then delete the photo. Choosing to overwrite a photo replaces the image permanently.
